SSC CHSL 2022 is a national-level exam that is conducted to recruit qualified students into different government departments, offices, and ministries for different posts like Sorting Assistants, Data Entry operators, LDC, Junior Secretariat assistants, etc.
SSC CHSL 2022 Eligibility
Before applying for the SSC CHSL exam, you must check whether you are eligible for it or not. The SSC CHSL eligibility is divided into three categories:
- Age limit of the applicants.
- Educational Qualification.
A candidate must be either a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
SSC CHSL Age limit
The minimum age to appear for SSC CHSL 2022 as of January 01, 2022, is 18 years and the maximum age is 27 years. Please do make a check on the details of SSC CHSL eligibility criteria to know about age relaxations for different categories.
Candidates must have cleared the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. If the applicant possesses any Degree obtained through Open Universities or Distance Education Mode, then that must be recognized by the Distance Education Council, IGNOU.
Skill Test Eligibility
The applicant must have passed the 12th standard in the science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent. (Data Entry Operator Post Only).
