Before applying SSC Stenographer exam candidates must go through the following SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria as stated by the officials of SSC.
Age Limit
For Grade C, the age should be between 18 to 30 years. For Grade D, the required age is 18 to 27 years. The Date of Birth will be considered as per High-school or equivalent documents. Reserved categories will get age relaxation benefits according to the Government’s Rule & Regulations.
However, some age relaxation norms have been introduced by the officials of SSC under the SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria, which are as follows:

Educational Qualification
A candidate must have passed 10+2 (12th) exam/HSC or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Board. Also, the candidates who have qualified in the Computer Based Examination and the Skill Test are required to produce all the relevant certificates in original such as Marksheets, Provisional Certificates, etc. for completion of 12th standard or equivalent examination as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification
