Eligibility Code for NTA NEET UG 2023 Exam
Eligibility Codes for NTA NEET UG 2023 Exam:
NEET UG Code 01: Candidates who are awaiting the results of their 12th standard qualifying examination in 2022 can apply and appear for the NEET UG exam. However, they will only be eligible for MBBS or BDS admission if they pass the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks before the first round of counseling.
NEET UG Code 02: Candidates who have completed 12 years of study and have passed the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, with the last two years comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests) and Mathematics or any other elective subject, along with English at a level not lower than the core course prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure.
NEET UG3 Code 0: Candidates who have passed the Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science from an Indian University/Board or a recognized examining body, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests), and English as a compulsory subject.
NEET UG Code 04: Candidates who have passed the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, after passing the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination should include practical tests in these subjects.
NEET UG Code 05: Candidates who have completed the first year of a recognized University’s three-year degree course with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests), provided that the examination is a University Examination and the candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
NEET UG Code 06: Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University with at least two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology, and have also passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
NEET UG Code 07: Candidates who have appeared in any other examination that is deemed equivalent in scope and standard to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests), and English.
These eligibility codes describe the various qualifications and examinations that candidates must fulfill to be eligible for the NTA NEET UG 2023 Exam.
Important Instruction for NEET UG
Aadhaar Card is mandatory for all candidates appearing in the NTA NEET 2023 Examination across India.
Photo Instructions: Please provide a clear passport-sized photo and a 4×6 size photo with a white background. Ensure that the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken are clearly mentioned.
OBC-NCL Certificate: The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued between 1st April 2022 and 31st March 2023.
SC/ST/GEN-EWS Certificate: The SC/ST/GEN-EWS certificate must be issued on or after 1st April 2022.
